No disrespect to Bernardo, the first reviewer of this place, but you really did not do this place justice. They deserve a much more in depth review. And hey, I got your back...
On that note...
I went for my first therapy session after a car accident and lo and behold... I notice the sign for this place just a couple of doors down from the clinic.
Oh happy day!!! Colombian hot dogs?!?! Yummers!!
I stopped in right after my session and ordered the "Hotdogalicious Super Dog". This bad boy is a chunky all beef hot dog with 11 toppings... It boasts cabbage, onions, bacon & potato sticks, topped with ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, cilantro sauce, pink sauce, pineapple sauce and parmesan cheese.
I'll admit, when I saw "cabbage", I was a little thrown, but thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and order it as is.
One of the best decisions that I have ever made!
I don't really know if it was the parmesan cheese or the chunky bits of bacon... Or, possibly the extra cilantro sauce that I generously added, but this puppy gave me the best foodgasm that I've experienced in a long long time...
Priced at $5.99, it may seem a bit steep for a hot dog... But I didn't have any regrets. They also offer a variety of other dogs... The "Colombiano", the "Venezolano", the "Mejicano" (yes, spelled just like that), the "Americano" and the "Choripan".
They also have a plethora of other "antojitos" or appetizers such as empanadas, arepas, salchipapas, maicitos and quite a few others.
I haven't even mentioned that they have burgers, pinchos, salads, wraps, and even churrasco!!
As for the ambiance, it's a tiny little place that seems to be family owned. They have only 2-3 hightop tables but the place is clean and well maintained. Service was pretty quick. I highly recommend that you give this place a try! You won't be disappointed!
